I am a person-centred counsellor. I believe wholeheartedly that each of us is best placed to find our own unique way in life with the acceptance and committed support of our counsellor alongside us. I value the trust my clients put in me when they come to counselling and am very moved by their stories and experiences of life’s challenges.

I have a particular interest in counselling those who have experienced trauma through violence and abuse. I am also committed to working with those who might feel judged, misunderstood or stigmatised and whose voices are less often or never heard.

Each person’s experience of counselling is different because it’s shaped by them and their relationship with their counsellor. There is no right or wrong way to be or to behave in counselling. Each relationship unfolds in its own way and at its own pace. Deciding to come to counselling will probably feel like a huge leap in the dark. It may well be scary but I am totally committed to offering you a safe, non-judgemental space and a human face.
