I am a person centred counsellor. This is an approach to counselling which I feel can be extremely beneficial to people as individuals. I believe and trust that you have the resources within yourself to answer the questions that may have brought you to counselling. I believe you are the best expert on you, through counselling I will be there alongside you offering non-judgmental support on your personal journey. I believe each journey through counselling is unique, because of this I feel the time we are in session together is your time to be used however you wish. The decision to go for counselling can be scary and difficult, if you decide counselling might be for you I will do everything I can to make it a safe and comfortable space to explore anything you might be finding difficult, either in life right now or with past experiences.
I am a trainee counsellor with Warwick University since 2016 and am a student
member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This is the body who set out the ethical framework for counselling professions which I work within.
